Kindness Counts

Feelin' the Christmas Fervor yet?

Is your Ho Ho Ho and Fa La La La La a little off key?
We are all being pushed this way and that through another busy holiday season.
Traffic, lines at the stores, holds on the phone....rush, rush, rush...
wait, wait, wait...
Sometimes, in the midst of this, tempers flare, frustrations boil, horns honk and words best left unspoken are uttered.
Have we forgotten how to slow down and stroll?
How to enjoy the company of those around you?

Are we taking Kindness out the Season?
After all, aren't you shopping because you want to bestow kindness on your loved ones?
But what about a little kindness for those we don't know?
Like a secret gift.
Hold the door for someone.
Let someone with fewer items go ahead of you in line.
Write out Christmas cards while you wait for customer service.
Give up your seat.
Wish fellow shoppers "Merry Christmas!"
Stop (pay) and drink some hot chocolate with someone you love.
But  most of all.
Smile :) Smile :) Smile :)

Happy Shopping Everyone!
“One kind word can warm three winter months.”
